Getting Started

  1. Add your accounts — checking, savings, investments, credit cards, loans.
  2. Log a snapshot each week — enter the current balance of each account.
  3. Watch the trend — your dashboard chart shows net worth over time.

Your data stays on your device unless you sign up for sync.

Adding Accounts

Go to Accounts → + Add Account.

Each account is either an asset (something you own) or a liability (something you owe). Net worth = assets minus liabilities.

Category is optional — a label like "Checking" or "Mortgage" to group similar accounts.

Uncheck Active to hide an account without deleting it.

Logging Snapshots

Tap Log Snapshot in the menu bar.

Last Balance shows what you recorded last time. Check your actual balance, type the new number. Leave a field empty to skip it.

The date defaults to today. Tap Save Snapshot when done.

The Dashboard

The cards at the top — Net Worth, Total Assets, Total Liabilities, Goal — are clickable. Each one changes the chart.

  • Net Worth — single line, your overall trend.
  • Assets / Liabilities — one line per account.
  • Goal — your net worth plus a dashed projection to your target.

Use the time range tabs (All, 1Y, 6M, 3M, 1M) to zoom in.

Go to dashboard →

Goals

In Settings, set a Target Net Worth and optionally a Target Date.

A Goal card appears on the dashboard. Click it to see a dashed projection line. No target date? It defaults to one year out.

Reordering Accounts

Drag account cards on the Accounts page to reorder them. The order carries over to the Log Snapshot form. Assets and liabilities reorder within their own groups.

Import & Export

In Settings → Open Import & Export.

Export downloads all your data as CSV. Do this periodically as a backup.

Import uploads a CSV. Accounts are matched by name — existing ones get new entries, new ones are created.

Required columns: date (YYYY-MM-DD), account (name), amount (number, no $ sign). Optional: type, category, active, position. Download the template to see the format.

Sync

Sign up to sync your data across devices. Your data is encrypted in your browser before leaving — the server never sees it unencrypted.

  1. Go to Login → Sign Up.
  2. Create an account (email + password, 12 characters minimum).
  3. On another device, log in. Your data syncs automatically.

Already have local data? It uploads after signup.

The small dot in the menu bar shows sync status: green = synced, red = error.
